The North Star School District will provide its students with the skills needed to successfully develop their academic, technological, physical, artistic, and social potential. Cooperation between schools, family, community, and business will enable our students to emerge as productive citizens ready to embrace and enjoy a lifetime of learning.
School-Counseling Department
The mission of the North Star School District’s School Guidance and Counseling Program is to provide all students equal opportunity and access to the academic, personal and social skills necessary to become responsible, productive and respectful individuals who are college and career ready and develop into contributing members of society. The integrated program is comprehensive and developmentally appropriate. In partnership with students, staff, family, community members, and employers, the counseling program prepares all students to achieve success in school, become lifelong learners and live healthy and fulfilling lives.
