Welcome!

Hello! My name is Courtney Golden, and I am proud to be the Middle School Emotional Support and Gifted teacher at North Star. I am thrilled to be part of this wonderful district, where I get to work with some of the most incredible students.

 

I am a proud Forest Hills graduate, I continued my education at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. Currently, I am furthering my studies by pursuing a Master's in School Counseling.

 

In addition to my teaching role, I am also the assistant coach for the North Star Varsity Softball team. I am passionate about both education and coaching, and I truly enjoy helping students thrive academically, emotionally, and athletically.
