My name is Christine Wilt. I am the school counselor for grades 7 & 8 at North Star East Middle School. I provide guidance lessons focused on the career, education, & work standards as outlined by the state of Pennsylvania. I also organize various career-oriented experiences for our 8th grade students. The students have the opportunity to participate in 8th Grade Career Day, attend career focused field trips and participate in Move Up Day at the end of the school year. I also assist students in scheduling classes for the high school for their freshman year. I provide guidance to any student in the areas of academic, social, & personal needs. I also oversee the Remembering Adam program for students in these grades that promotes being drug free. This involvement requires parent consent and is offered every school year.
