Music with Mrs. Diamond

I am currently teaching general music grades K-4, as well as chorus grades 5-8. It is my hope that students will find something about music they can enjoy and share with others.

Elementary music focuses on the foundations of music; singing, moving & playing. Students have the opportunity to play a variety of percussion instruments & recorder to learn how to read music.

Chorus is a great outlet for those students who like to sing and perform. We prepare music for two concerts a year. The elementary typically does a small musical with unison and some two part singing. At the middle school level we begin to expand our abilities and begin work on three part music.
A little about Mrs. Diamond...
Mrs. Diamond attended I.U.P. and earned a Bachlors degree in music education in 2003 then attended Duquesne University and was awarded a Masters degree in music education in 2006. She is married and has two children. In her spare time she gives private music lessons on beginner piano, beginner to advanced trombone & baritone. Mrs. Diamond also enjoys gardening. cooking & exercise.
